Aglaonema 'Snowflake' is a fabulous plant for areas of lower light and very easy to care for, a cultivar of Aglaonema commutatum Schott, commonly called 'Philippine evergreen', is an evergreen perennial that generally resembles dieffenbachia (dumb cane) in appearance. Aglaonema 'Snowflake' is beautifully coloured, with dark green blades and white and lime-coloured splashes around the midrib.
Genus name comes form the Greek words aglaos meaning bright or clear and nema meaning a thread in reference to the stamens.
