Aporocactus 'Melanie' is a trailing cactus cultivar grown for long, arching green stems that become more pendant as the plant matures. Flowering-size plants can produce bright pink to magenta blooms along the hanging stems, adding colour without changing the plant’s relaxed cascading shape.
Keep it in very bright light and use a fast-draining cactus or epiphytic-style mix so the stems can lengthen without sitting over wet roots. A hanging pot or raised position gives the trailing growth room to drop naturally.
