Dracaena (Sansevieria) aubrytiana 'Lauren' is a cultivar of Dracaena aubrytiana (Carrière) Byng & Christenh. It belongs to the genus Dracaena (formarly Sansevieria) from the family Asparagaceae. This snake plant variety has sword shaped leaves with wide yellow-gold stripes and green down the middle, and is a staple for any low maintenance houseplant lover.
The name dracaena is derived from the romanized form of the Ancient Greek δράκαινα – drakaina, "female dragon".
