Ficus benghalensis 'Audrey' grows as an upright indoor tree with broad, matte leaves, pale veins, and a more restrained texture than glossy rubber plant types. Its structure stays calm and architectural, with branching stems and a pale trunk that gradually build presence without looking heavy, which makes it a good choice for bright rooms that need height rather than width.
Give it strong filtered light, a loose, well-drained mix, and enough drying time that the upper 5–7 cm of substrate are no longer damp before watering again. Indoors it can eventually reach around 1.5–3 m, and frequent moving, cold drafts, or soggy soil often trigger leaf drop. The sap can irritate skin, and the plant is not safe if chewed by pets or children.
