Goeppertia majestica 'Whitestar' is a cultivar of Goeppertia majestica (Linden) Borchs. & S.Suárez.
The glorious foliage of White Star is very pale green with contrasting dark green stripes and burgundy undersides. Its leaves display also very beautiful, unusual pink shades, depending on light conditions.
Genus name ; 'Goeppertia'  is in honor of the German botanist Heinrich Göppert, and was first described in 1831.
