Probably the favourite among its genus, Goeppertia (Calathea) lietzei ‘White Fusion’ is a cultivar of Goeppertia lietzei (É.Morren) Saka. It is a herbaceous perennial evergreen, with very striking foliage. It grows enormous, glossy, white striped leaves with a purple underside. This very ornamental plant shows shades of green, white, and lilac.
Genus name ; 'Goeppertia' is in honor of the German botanist Heinrich Göppert, and was first described in 1831.
