Hoya caudata 'Gold'

Hoya caudata 'Gold' is a cultivar of Hoya caudata Hook.fil.   It has ovate, thick leathery and stiff leaves rough to the touch. Upper leaf surface characteristically mottled, base color dull-mid green or olive green, often tinged with brown, and with dull grey - very dull pale green blotches. This cultivar produces beautiful, orange-coloured flowers.

 

The genus was named in Modern Latin in honor of English gardener and botanist Thomas Hoy (c. 1750-1822).
