Pilea spruceana 'Norfolk' is a cultivar of; Pilea spruceana Wedd. It is a wonderful plant featuring heavily textured foliage with deep, spine-like veins. The leaves emerge reddish-pink before turning metallic silver with charcoal green veins. The oval foliage grows in an upright bushy habit.

The genus name Pilea is Latin for "felt cap", a reference to the calyx covering the achene
