A very rare and stunning, undescribed yet, species of Homalomena form Aceh region in Sumatra with gorgeous, pubescent velvety foliage and very dark red leaf colouration.
The genus name "Homalomena" is derived form the Greek words for flat ("homalos") and moon ("mene").
