Ficus

Ficus is a genus of about 850 species of woody trees, shrubs, vines, epiphytes and hemiepiphytes in the family Moraceae. Collectively known as fig trees or figs, they are native throughout the tropics. Ficus plants are relatively easy-to grow as houseplants. They can grow very quickly and if the conditions and care are right, these plants can easily graduate from a tabletop plant to a floor plant or fill an empty corner.
