Aloe
The genus Aloe encompasses more than 650 species of succulent plants. Aloe vera, also known as "true aloe," is the most popular species. However, there are several lesser-known aloe varieties that can be easily cultivated in containers or in frost-free outdoor areas.
Most species of aloes display a wide range of appearances, but they tend to have thick, succulent leaves that are arranged in a circular pattern. The flowers, on the other hand, commonly have a tubular shape and can be found in vibrant hues of yellow, orange, pink, or red.
