Dracaena (Sansevieria) trifasciata 'Silver Mist' is a new cultivar of Dracaena trifasciata (Prain) Mabb This variety has beautiful foliage with silvery colour. The leaves are long, sword-shaped, stiff and bend a little as they grow. They have very subtle, vertical striping pattern of grey or grayish green bands of varying widths. Faint horizontal bands of light green cross through the grey vertical bands. Edges of the leaves are hardenedand slightly wavy. It’s a great plant for beginners, requiring very little maintenance.
The name Dracaena is derived from the romanized form of the Ancient Greek δράκαινα – drakaina, "female dragon"
