Aloe 'Hercules' succulent houseplant
  • Aloe 'Hercules' is a hybrid of Aloe dichotoma and Aloe barberae being the parents. It is one of the fastest growing aloe in cultivation. It grows large, wide blue-green leaves that really look very little like those of either parent.. The trunk is smooth like an Aloe dichotoma, turning rough near the base, too. Plants don't seem to branch nearly as much or develop the girth of an Aloe barberae, so remain more pillar-like/ specimen-worthy.

The botanical name derives from Latin, aloe (also from Greek), having uncertain origin, and vera ("true") from Latin.
