Begonia rex 'Chayo' houseplant
  • Begonia rex 'Chayo' is a rhizomatous plant that forms clumps and has a bushy appearance. Its leaves are predominantly silver with a hint of pink and dark veining, lending a unique charm to this particular begonia variety. The shimmering foliage of the plant possesses a metallic sheen that occasionally takes on a hint of blue. The leaves of the young plant start off as round and gradually transform into a teardrop shape as they reach maturity.
