Hoya flagallata (silver form)
  • Hoya flagallata (silver form) grows long and narrow leaves and get almost totally red in good light. The flowers are around 1.2 cm and are pubescent. The corona is red with long hairs sticking out of the center. The flowers are so similar to Hoya caudata that many collectors think that it may just be another clone of caudata. This 'silver' form displays gorgeous variegation in form of round splashes all over the leaves.

     

    The genus was named in Modern Latin in honor of English gardener and botanist Thomas Hoy (c. 1750-1822).
