Hoya rundumensis 'Splash' is a variegated variety of Hoya rundumensis (T.Green) Rodda & Simonsson. It grows thick green leaves with leathery texture and white flecks, with slight felting on underside. Its flowers are dark red and fuzzy, and have the appearance of a button, up to 7mm diameter, with light gold-coloured corona. Up to 30 flowers per umbel with a very trong fragrace.
The genus was named in Modern Latin in honor of English gardener and botanist Thomas Hoy (c. 1750-1822).
