Hoya verticillata var. verticillata 'Splash' is a cultivar of Hoya verticillata var. verticillata. In horticulture still know best under its synonym name Hoya parasitica. It has beautiful. textured, sharply pointed leaves with lovely, uneven 'splash' variegation.

The genus was named in Modern Latin in honor of English gardener and botanist Thomas Hoy (c. 1750-1822).
