Cordyline obtecta 'Superstar' is a cultivar of Cordyline obtecta (Graham) Bake . This cultivar has broader sword-like foliage than some varieties, and a stunning dark purple-red colouration. Forming a glorious tower of glossy foliage, it will become a real focal point, reaching up to 150cms high and 100cms wide in time.
The name Cordyline comes from the Greek word kordyle, meaning "club," a reference to the enlarged underground stems or rhizomes.
