Peperomia caperata  'Mendoza' houseplant
  • Peperomia 'Mendoza'  originated from the crossing of the female or seed parent, Peperomia caperata ‘Teresa’  and the male or pollen parent, Peperomia ‘Eden Rosso’ by Per Siggaard Christensen for Tingdal in 2015. It is a compact-growing plant, has short stems with  heart-shaped, deeply ridged leaves. This cultivar has stunning, grey foliage with green veins on the upper surface and red on the lower surface, a large number of leaves and a compact habit.

     

    The genus name Peperomia was coined by Spanish botanists Ruiz López and Pavón Jiménez in 1794 after their travels in Peru and Chile.

    • Peperomia 'Mendoza' comes in following sizes:

      baby (XS) - is ca. 12 cm  tall and comes in a ⌀ 6 cm pot

      M - is ca. 20 cm  tall and comes in a ⌀ 11 cm pot
