Philodendron 'Orange marmalade' aka 'Quadcolor'

Philodendron 'Orange marmalade' aka 'Quadcolor' is; a beautifully variegated, scandent Philodendron hybrid with red petioles and leaf margins. Leaf blades are lanceolate, and when juvenile they emerge bright orange to then transition to light green/ lime mottled when mature. It is an easy grower and will climb given suitable support.

form the Modern Latin genus name Philodendron (Schott, 1830), form Greek philodendron, neuter of philodendrons "loving trees," form philo- "loving" (see philo-) + dendron "tree" (form PIE *der-drew-, form root *deru- "to be firm, solid, steadfast," also forming words for "wood, tree"). The plant so called because it clings to trees.
