Schismatoglottis sp. Borneo 'Silver'

Schismatoglottis sp. Borneo 'Silver' is a not yet described species with amazingly coloured foliage. Its leaves look like painted with a paintbrush. The dark green around the midrib is contrasting with beautiful strokes of silver through the leaf blade. The dark leaf margins create a beautiful frame around the pattern.

Schismatoglottis is a generic name form Greek schism, schismatos meaning separating, and glotta meaning tongue. The word tongue is referring to the variously deciduous upper part of the spathe that most of the species have.
