Thaumatophyllum X stenolobum variegata rare houseplants

The show-stealing Thaumatophyllum X stenolobum variegata is a very impressive, self-heading plant, has long, wavy, triangular leaves that average 40 cm to 75 cm in length when mature. Every leaf blade emerges with different pattern of variegation.

Leaf blades are triangular in outline, upper surface dark green, semi-glossy with uneven patches of white or pale-yellow variegation.

Genus name comes form Ancient Greek “θαυματ-” (“thaumato-”, wonder, miracle) + “φύλλον” (“phyllum”, leaf); wonderful leaf, referring to the beautiful and peculiar leaves of the type species.
