Aglaonema 'Red Valentine' is a very eye-catching plant with beautifully coloured foliage - from pale pink foliage when juvenile, to very deep pink-red when mature, with fresh green leaf margins and green-yellow splashes scattered randomly.
Genus name comes form the Greek words aglaos meaning bright or clear and nema meaning a thread in reference to the stamens.
