Hoya carnosa 'Dark red' houseplants
Hoya carnosa 'Dark red' is a cultivar of Hoya carnosa (L.fil.) R.Br. Hoya carnosa has been in cultivation for more than 200 years and has given rise to many cultivars that vary in foliage form or flower color. It is definitely one of the most-loved and most-often cultivated Hoyas. 
Hoya carnosa 'Dark red' leaves are quite narrow and filigrane-looking, they may emerge dark red/ burgundy, hence the name.
The genus was named in Modern Latin in honor of English gardener and botanist Thomas Hoy (c. 1750-1822).
