Anthurium warocqueanum x waterburyanum is a hybrid of two stunning velvet-leaf Anthuriums: Anthurium warocqueanum T.Moore and Anthurium waterburyanum Croat . It is a large leaf aroid, growing as appressed or loosely attached climber. Leaf blades are cordate-lanceolate, leaf lamina leathery, deep velvety green.
The genus name Anthurium is derived from Greek ánthos "flower" + ourá "tail" + New Latin -ium -ium . A very literal translation of this would be 'flowering tail'.
